Mr. Doak, as project manager, lead the design team through the complex village main street reconstruction project.  In addition to all the features common to a village project as noted above, this project was also complicated by steep terrain, a very tight ROW corridor, and complicated intersections.  Mr. Doak was the first to introduce roundabouts to NYSDOT Region 9 by replacing two of the troubled intersections with them.
